What We Learned
You’re probably thinking — I don’t have any more time to do new things. The good news is that it won’t cost you more time. These strategies are about getting more out of what you’re doing.
Kim used to work around the clock and was still completely broke. But, then, reality hit her when she had to pawn her engagement ring to make payroll. So, she knew she had to do something new.
She found the book, No BS Direct Marketing by Dan Kennedy, and a light bulb went off. She remembered the quote by Tony Robbins, “If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.”
So, she began researching what digital marketers are doing. They were giving a free gift. So, she began experimenting. She had 1500 email subscribers. And she grew it to over 100,000 email subscribers.
Know this: You have value, and you deserve to be paid for it. Tell yourself: If it’s not going to get me results, I am not going to do it.
How?
We are not going to show up and try to sell them something. You have to show up to the party that is social media. We are not going to chase after the money anymore. We are going to have them come to us.
