Being boring can actually work in your favor!
Because of that misconception that marketing online won't work for boring industries, you could have a fantastic advantage if your competitors aren't making that leap. That means that you could actually have less competition online versus other companies.
Another way to write content and promote your company online is to focus on topics related to your industry instead of writing directly about it. For example, let's say you sell life insurance. Instead of writing about facts and stats about death rates, you might write something a tad more interesting, like "5 interesting things you didn't know about death."
